For your first lesson with a new class: the holidays in one word and the trip to school break the ice, then everyone writes down anonymously what you should know about them.

How to use it

  1. Open with the word cloud while people are still settling in. The biggest words give you something to talk about straight away.
  2. Read the notes after the lesson, when you have time. What students write there often matters more than anything they’d say out loud.
  3. Check the answers about getting to school before you plan anything for the afternoon.
